What is Heart Brain Coherence?
Heart brain coherence is when your brain works with your heart and body. For example, your thoughts and decisions hand in hand with your emotions and also the actions you take. This means that your brain, heart, and body directly correlate with each other. This happens to us every day in our lives as we think about or feel something.
In Coherence, our heart basically replicates our emotions as different heart patterns represent different emotions. Different emotional states also influence our electromagnetic field. Our hearts can also influence our actions as we can have a sudden emotional change.
Our Brain is what represents our thoughts and decisions in coherence. There are many parts of our brain, but the neocortex is the part of the brain that controls cognitive functioning and our ability to learn. The frontal lobe of the neocortex is what controls most of the brain as it dictates mostly what happens in it. Our body executes actions based on the emotions from the heart and thoughts and decisions from the brain in coherence. It is what physically represents our thoughts and emotions as it shows what is going on inside of our brain and heart. Our body in Coherence can also accidentally do an action without it going on in our brain and heart.
Our heart, body, and brain all work together to produce coherence in our body system. They all react and are dependent on each other as they each produce different “emotions”. For example, the signals the heart constantly sends to the brain help influence the brain in perception, cognition, and emotional processing. Overall, the body, heart, and brain all work simultaneously together to produce coherence as they all relate and signal each other. Coherence helps with many things as it helps our bodies gain more “momentum” and also help our body connect together.
When physiological coherence is in a positive emotional state, this is called psychophysiological coherence. This coherence especially can help bring in different emotions throughout multiple times in the day and helps us experience a variety of emotions. This kind of coherence also helps manage stressful situations, which helps with multiple scenarios. The three body parts in coherence are “married” because they all depend on each other to work a relationship between the three of them and produce heart brain coherence. It is only when they start working together, that any sort of coherence is produced. They also play a key part in representing our spirit as they help establish our “spirit”.
