LEARNING DIFFERENT FUNDRAISERS
Learning Different works continuously to help students in need with learning differences. We are currently focused on supporting two causes: helping pediatric patients in Texas along with serving elementary students in Tanzania, who come from impoverished upbringing.
Pediatric Patients In Texas
Mini Rovers are mobile units that offer a multi-sensory environment to provide a calming experience for children who suffer with anxiety, chronic pain, intellectually disability, brain injury, and autism. Many children who are hospitalized experience high levels of stress: a rover engages and relaxes them making a huge difference in their recovery. Our goal is to raise 6,000 dollars to buy three rovers to be used in Cook Hospital in Fort Worth. Help us in achieving Cook Children's Health Foundation’s mission of acquiring these devices to improve pediatric care. Click the link below to donate and make a difference!
Elementary Students in tanzania
Learning Different is partnering with the Toa Nafasi Project, to make a difference in the lives of underserved children in Tanzania. We are seeking your support to raise funds for 336 grade-one students with learning disabilities who live in poverty. Your donation will be used to provide educational resources, nutritional needs, and necessary surgeries to these children who desperately need them. Our goal is to raise $7,000 to support these students with a year of resources.
